Tech Worker Burnout

Man Stressing at Desk

You're good at your job, you're just running on empty.

At some point, high performance stops feeling like an achievement and starts feeling like survival. Therapy for the tech worker who's succeeding on the outside and burning out on the inside.

You're still delivering. You're just disappearing.

On paper, nothing is wrong. But you're exhausted in a way that sleep doesn't fix, and the things that used to excite you don't anymore. You keep going because stopping feels scarier than burning out.

Work follows you home. Your family is starting to feel it.

You're physically there but mentally still in Slack. The short fuse, the zoning out at dinner, the weekends that don't feel like weekends. And the people closest to you are absorbing what the job is doing to you.

You hit the goal. So why doesn't it feel like enough?

The salary, the title, the company everyone's heard of. You did what you were supposed to do. But somewhere between the offer letter and now, the definition of "making it" stopped making sense. If success feels hollow, maybe it's time to decide what it actually means to you.

What We Do

How We Do It

My private pay rate is $300/hr for couples and $250/hr for individuals.  I supply a superbill document for insurance reimbursement.

We start with a biopsychosocial assessment which covers your history. I want to know who you are and what you've been through before we get to what's going on in the present.

We set our treatment goals - these guide the direction of our work and we are always making improvements towards them. We figure out what's actually going on beneath the exhaustion: values misalignment, identity, relationship strain. Then we build something sustainable.

Sessions are real conversations: direct, practical, and occasionally a little nerdy. You'll leave with actual tools, not just insight. Think of it less like traditional therapy and more like finally debugging the problem you've been ignoring. You get homework. We meet frequently at first and then less frequently as we improve.
